Standfast still a family run business ~ Our history

Established in 1968 by Richard Brightling. After many years working abroad where he was involved with the need for high security on a daily basis he felt that this knowledge and experience would transfer well when establishing a burglar alarm company in the South East.

The business was initially run from home, as Standfast grew we moved to new premises to incorporate a large retail store, workshops and offices, extended over the years to accommodate the growing team. In the 70's both sons entered the business and today play a major role in its running.

We have now been in business over 40 years with thanks to loyal customers and the support of our highly trained team which underpin our reputation for dependable service. We are proud of the service we offer from the initial enquiry through to after sales.  This focus has made us into a leading provider of commercial and home security, to offer the complete solution to your security requirements.
