Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be satisfied with every purchase. However, if you need to make a return, then simply follow the three easy steps below:

STEP 1:

Please complete the relevant section of the packing slip enclosed with your order.

STEP 2:

Attach the pre-printed address label from the packing slip onto your parcel (please note this label is not pre-paid).

STEP 3:

Return the parcel using Royal Mail Standard Services. If sending from a mainland Post Office we would recommend obtaining a ‘proof of postage’ certificate, available free on request.


Are returns free of charge?

Customers frequently ask us why we don’t offer free returns on everything. The answer is we would like to but, if we did, the cost would have to be absorbed into the prices we charge for our products, which goes against our belief in honest, up-front pricing.

StandFast Burglar Alarm Company Limited reserves the right to make a 25% restocking charge for any goods which are not returned in perfect condition, or to refuse such goods, at its sole discretion. StandFast Burglar Alarm Company Limited also reserves the right to make a charge for any goods the customer has cancelled and returned to us if no longer required and are not faulty. StandFast Burglar Alarm Company Limited also reserves the right to make a charge (this will be emailed to the customer) if the goods are collected by StandFast Burglar Alarm Company Limited as the goods have been cancelled and no longer required but are not defective.


Want to exchange an item?

If you are returning an item but wish to reorder rather than simply being refunded, we will gladly refund the cost of your return postage. All we ask is that you return the item(s) to us in perfect, saleable condition, complete with all the labels and packaging, within 28 days of receipt. We will send your replacement(s) free of any post & package charge and will refund the cost of your return postage using Royal Mail Standard Services.


Need an exchange fast?

Complete Steps 1 to 3 as above and then simply call one of our Sales Team who will be happy to take your re-order immediately. They won’t be able to refund your returns postage at this stage (we need the parcel for that), but the items will be sent out to you with free shipping.
