Geoff (Managing Director) & Adrian (Alarms Manager) came back from IFSEC full of enthusiasm they’d had a really beneficial day touching base with current suppliers and meeting new ones.
IFSEC International is Europe’s largest security exhibition held over 3 days each year attended by over 600 suppliers to the industry and over 27,000 global security professionals.
It is a good opportunity to find out about the latest technological innovations becoming available, and the day together was good an opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of which to take on board.
There was a noticeable move within the industry towards increased use of wireless, these systems are already used at Standfast Burglar Alarms so an avenue to be pursued and integrated further. They were also impressed with a possible new supplier for our CCTV department, the reps from the company were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating, all the things we like in a supplier, so Adrian will be following up on that.
Adrian has also suggested a demo. CCTV system is placed in our retail centre in Margate, this will link to his phone, perfect to demonstrate to clients when he is out and about. More to follow in future blog posts.
All and all, a day away from the office, well spent.
