Intruder Alarm Engineer

LOCATION: This is based in Margate and covering East Kent and you must therefore live within easy travelling distance of Margate – no more than a 10 mile radius. This also means a good work / home life balance.

HOURS: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, plus out of hours call out rota including weekends/Bank Holidays.

You will be installing, servicing and maintaining intruder alarms and CCTV systems to the relevant standards, including Texecom, Scantronic and Aritech, AHD and IP CCTV to name a few, dealing with domestic and commercial customers across the East Kent area.

You may already be working in an employed position, or possibly a sub-contractor looking for more security (plus pension, overtime, and holiday pay), either way you must be a qualified and experienced Intruder Alarm Engineer / Security Alarm Engineer, with good people skills and a strong work ethic. The ability to complete PDA / paperwork after each job. To be part of a strong team and a good team player.

A reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic person, you must be able to pass a CRB / DBS / Police checks for the security industry, possess a full clean UK driving licence, and ideally have worked with Scantronic, Aritech and Texecom systems.

Your current / previous jobs may have included; Intruder Alarm Service Engineer, Security Alarm Engineer, Security Installation Engineer, Fire and Security Engineer, Security Systems Engineer, Alarms Installation Engineer, Security Maintenance Engineer, Alarm & CCTV Engineer, Intruder Alarm & CCTV Installation Technician, Electronics Engineer or similar.
