Standfast Security has a specialist team who are trained in the installation of automated gates commonly known as electric gates and retractable bollards. These systems are installed to commercial and residential properties for varying reasons, whether it is for additional security and or privacy. They give the convenience of not having to get out of your vehicle to open and close the gates. They help protect your children, particularly in schools and your pets from possibly running out on to busy roads.

We can provide timber gates from a range of four designs, each gate is constructed of a galvanised steel box section then clad in timber alternatively bespoke steel to any design which can be galvanised and powder coated for longevity.
There are a wide range of gate operators available; our aim is to ensure the correct operator is installed for each gate and its environment. We are able to operate swinging gates up to 6m long with a weight of 600kg using an underground operator or 8m long with a weight of 550kg using a surface mounted operator. Our preferred choice is CAME & BPT products for their reliability and they are aesthetically pleasing, which please us and our clients.

Reducing risks and improving safety
Safety is very important as these are a powerful moving objects and gate safety must be in place to protect pedestrians and vehicles. As a Gate Safe Aware installer safety will always be an important criteria on our installations. These could be in the form of photo electric cells, safe edges and ground loops as a means of stopping and reversing the gate if an obstruction is detected.
Each installation is tailored to each client’s individual requirements and can include video and audio entry systems.
