Over the last nine months, we have increased our workforce, we spent months looking for the ‘right people’ to join our team and who we knew our clients would like and be happy to have in their homes and businesses. We are pleased to say we have already received positive feedback from our clients and those working with them.
Intruder Alarm Department:
Kenton joined last summer as a Trainee Alarm Engineer his mentor is Bob who has been with us for over 25 years, so in a position to help steer Kenton in the right direction for a fulfilling career within Standfast Security. I’m sure there will already be some stories to be told! Matt & James followed at the end of last year, both already experienced in our field of security, so with some guidance from other members of the team, their transition to Standfast has been smooth.
A few words from Kenton – “Since the day I joined Standfast 9 months ago I have been given so many opportunities to develop my work skills. The fact that Standfast is family-run really makes it all feel like one big family without losing levels of professionalism. In my 9 months with Standfast, I have learned so much which I put down to the quality of the team around me and the knowledge I have access to. Just like everyone I work with, I am proud of my work and proud to call myself a member of the Standfast team and I feel this really shows in my work.”
The Offices:
Vikki joined to work alongside Trevor the Office Manager and his team to help with the ever-increasing workload. They say that using computers make a paperless world, I’d say although they are a huge help and addition, there is still a vast amount of paper and general office work to be done after all the offices are the hub of the company helping it all tick along on a daily basis and avoiding too many surprises……here are a few words from Vikki…
“It’s always a nerve-racking experience to start a new job…..but everyone here at ‘Standfast’ has made me feel so welcome, even the engineers out on the road are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for them…..however I would recommend they issue a Gym membership as the number of cakes that come round on a weekly basis !!…..this is not a job you can stay slim in”
